Iceland noir

Newcastle Noir has a very strong bond with Iceland Noir and we are so excited to welcome back Lilja Sigurđadóttir to the festival. This time she'll comes with the first instalment of her Reyjavík Trilogy Snare translated into English by our good friend and fine crime writer Quentin Bates.

Newcastle Noir is back

Welcome back to Newcastle Noir, you fabulous crime fiction lovers!

We've been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you a criminally fantastic line-up for NN2018! The festival taking place the first May Bank Holiday will be held at Newcastle's Lit & Phil Society Library, 4-6th May.

As always we're bringing some of the best crime writers in the world to the North East. With over 40 local, national & international crime writers, we invite you to come join us for a very special weekend in the crime writing calendar that will be rounded off by The Fun Loving Crime Writers playing at The Cluny. Details of tickets and panels will be posted here very soon.
